VENT/WEEPER INSTALLATION

1. With the use of grinder and drilling the appropriately-sized holes, drill into the vertical masonry joints at approximately every two feet - horizontally. Ensure that the slots thus made are then cleared of any debris and that the cavity may shed directly to the exterior of the wall.

2. Install "vent-type" weepers into the openings with a good pressure fit and tuckpoint the masonry joint above to make watertight.

3. Where a vented cavity wall is required to provide air circulation, vent both below the top course and again at the bottom course, by repeating steps 1 and 2 above.
