2. Where surface areas show fissures or cracks, the substrate conditions shall be determined on-site and reported to the Owner or his Representative for his direction (unless covered under Scope of Work).

3. Repair all structural cracks over 5 mils by caulking, grouting, tuck-pointing or patching, as site-conditions and methods warrant.

4. Apply the water repellant material (horizontal surfaces) using a low-pressure spray (15 P.S.I.) by ponding it on the surface until the material takes a minimum of five seconds to be absorbed.

5. On vertical surfaces, apply the water repellent material by low-pressure spray (15 P.S.I.) so it will run down the surface six to eight inches below the spray pattern.

6. Continue in this fashion until all surfaces have been treated as per the Scope of Work.
